We are thrilled to announce that the March election results revealed strong support for Measure H, with over 63% of San Carlos voters in favor and as of last week, it has officially passed!
Calling all Arroyo students and their families! The San Carlos Hometown Days celebration is May 17-19, and Arroyo School will be marching in the parade on the morning of Saturday, May 18. This is a great opportunity to show your school spirit and celebrate being an Arroyo Eagle!
Arroyo students and their adult chaperones will meet between 9 and 9:30 a.m. on Cedar Street by Central Middle School. Students are encouraged to bring water and wear purple or Arroyo school gear.
This is your last opportunity to order your Arroyo yearbook in time for it to be delivered to school. Yearbooks are distributed the last week of school, and extra copies will not be available on campus, so be sure to order by May 15 if your child would like one.
Our next PTA Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, at 8:45 a.m. in the Central-Arroyo Library. Please join us for a presentation from Central’s Safe School Ambassadors. We’ll also be reviewing the PTA Budget for next school year. The Meeting Dates & Agendas can be found via the link above.

Welcome to Arroyo Upper Elementary! Our Arroyo mascot is the Eagle and Together We Soar, as we come together as a school community to support our students in connecting with their peers and growing socially and academically. This year it’s more important than ever that we continue to implement our Strategic Plan.
In particular, we’ll be focusing on:
Meeting each child’s individual needs both social-emotionally and academically
Using Habits of Mind, the 5C’s, and innovative practices to engage students so that we can accelerate learning
Helping students develop a sense of ownership for their learning and encouraging independence, goal setting, and a growth mindset.
Supporting parents as partners in their child’s educational journey
